WhatsApp has the advantage of automatically deleting a video or photo if it is viewed after it has been sent to WhatsApp. IPhone and Android users will get this benefit.
With this feature called 'View Once', if a video or picture appears on WhatsApp, the recipient will delete it after viewing it. Authorities say the messaging app was launched to give users more control over the privacy of their information.
Not only that, after viewing the picture or video, it is not even stored in the recipient's gallery. There is no chance to even forward it.
WhatsApp says it's best to send View One messages only to people who can be trusted. Because, even if the picture cannot be saved in the gallery, there is no obstacle to keep the record through screenshot or any other means. Pictures can also be taken from any other device.
How to send a message on WhatsApp:
At the beginning, you need to update to the latest version of WhatsApp.
After the update, if you open any chat window, you will get the option to send pictures or videos to the recipient.
When selecting a media file the short will show a circular option where one will be written in English.
If you tap on a text round option, View Once Media will be activated.
After sending the View One file, he selects the message and swipes to the right to see if the recipient has opened or viewed the message.
The feature also works on WhatsApp group messages. You just have to send a message to the group following the above procedure. Similarly, selecting the message and swiping to the right will show which member of the group has opened it.
The facility can also be canceled by tapping on that one written circle.
View One message is valid for 14 days. That is, if it is not opened for 14 days, then it will be deleted automatically. WhatsApp's end-to-end protection also works on View One messages. That is, no one will see it except the recipient and the sender.
