The COUNT
function in Excel allows you to count the number of cells that contain numbers within a specified range. Here’s how it works:
Syntax:
=COUNT(range)
range
: The range of cells you want to count.
Example: Suppose you have data in cells A2 through A7:

- To count the number of cells containing numbers in this range, use:
Result: 3 (since three cells contain numbers).=COUNT(A2:A7)

Remember that text values and blank cells are ignored when using COUNT
